- Implemented a number of innovative programs and initiatives to support all students, including those from marginalized groups, such as the Freshman Academy, the AVID program, and the Career and Technical Education Academies
- Collaborated with the New Jersey School Development Authority in the planning, designing, and building of New Brunswick High School and Perth Amboy High School
- Was instrumental in the awarding and monitoring of a federal Small Learning Communities grant of approximately half a million dollars, Johnson & Johnson’s Bridge to Employment, and the creation of Small Learning Communities

- Perth Amboy received the award in July 2019 for academic achievement, a distinction that was earned during her three-year tenure as principal, when they achieved success with test scores.
- As Assistant Superintendent, she was directly responsible for leading BCIT to win the Lighthouse Award for Equity and Diversity.
